In July, the LDE Centre for Global Heritage and Development offered six guided walks of Leiden, as part of the Leiden 2022 City of Science program. We are pleased to have had such an overwhelming public response, with nearly 100 people joining us and all the walks in July booked out in a matter of days.
In response to the interest and enthusiasm received, the LDE Centre for Global Heritage and Development is now offering three more walks this August, in order to accommodate all those wanting to discover Leiden and its hidden gems.
These free guided walks are a great opportunity to discover one of the most charming towns in the Netherlands, city of books, breeding ground for innovative science and Nobel laureates and - last but not least - home to the oldest university in the country.
The calendar of our free walks for the month of August will be as follows:
- Saturday 6 August 2022 at 11:00, FULL
- Sunday 7 August 2022 at 11:00, FULL
- Sunday 28 August 2022 at 11:00, to join this guided walk, fill in this form.

- Duration: ca. 2 hours
- Language: English
- Registration is required

- The walking tours will run with a minimum of 5 participants and a maximum of 15. A comfort break will take place during the tour, as required.
