The Art, Heritage and Science cluster is primarily object-oriented. We focus on the interaction between art and science, whereby we aim to spearhead new transdisciplinary research in the heritage field: research that does not only combine different disciplines but transcends them to generate novel methodologies and insights. Ultimately, our goal is to train the next generation of engaged global heritage scholars who work effectively across disciplinary boundaries and create value for stakeholders (see also our position paper below).
The Art, Heritage and Science cluster has two cluster managers: Anna Tummers and Filip Vermeylen.
