Student Reporter, Centre for Global Heritage and Development, Faculty of Law at Leiden University Vanessa is an LL.M. candidate in Public International Law at Leiden University. She was born and raised in Madrid, Spain, where she obtained her Bachelor's degrees in Law and in Political Science and Public Administration. As a passionate about History of Art and International Law, she focused her research work on Cultural Heritage Law, with the aim to further develop it in her future PhD. She also enjoys human rights' advocacy, so she has participated in the Phillip C. Jessup International Moot Court Competition twice, representing both Spain and The Netherlands.
