Our annual Student Hub will be a collaboration with the municipality of Leiden. The city of Leiden was one of the six projects that was awarded an Erfgoeddeal in 2023. During four days, from 28 May until 31 May, students from the three Leiden, Delft and Erasmus universities will work together.
Six locations in Leiden's historic old town where in the past one or more major transformations have occurred will be studied with the following task:
- What do you do with those transformations from many years ago?
- How do you perceive them and how do you translate them into the present, integrating them into the contemporary narrative of the city with its current challenges for public space (climate adaptation, biodiversity, etc.)?
The end product will be a design of each location.
