Zuiderwaterlinie (Southern Water Defence Line)
The Southern Water Defence Line is a series of fortresses, fortified cities and inundation fields in the province of Noord- Brabant, created to defend our country in the past. The main goal of this student workshop is to come up with new ideas how to make the history of the military line a driving theme for large scale new spatial interventions which are needed. In September 2020 a group of Leiden and Delft students participated in this student hub on location in Breda and Drimmelen. Hopefully in the following years we can organize follow up student hubs.
